David Paul James is an American singer, songwriter, keyboardist, and producer based in Türkiye.
Trained as a classical pianist, James first discovered his voice as a student at Stanford, where he performed at Carnegie Hall and the Atlanta Olympic Games.
James’ musical style is eclectic, blending elements of pop, alternative, electronic, and folk. As a songwriter, he has been compared to indie artists such as Bon Iver and James Blake, combining singable melodies, rich harmonies, and honest lyrics that explore themes of temptation, loneliness, nostalgia, ambivalence, and mature love.
